JD Cordlé

At the age of six, JD Cordlé picked up a guitar and has not put one down since. JD wrote his first three songs at ten years old and by fourteen went professional. Playing in the venues around Mississippi, JD had his parents, Linda and Ed, as chaperones to get in the twenty-one and over clubs. He learned how to play lead guitar by playing with the house bands.  This led to him learning how to play any type of music, but he started to specialize in blues.  At nineteen, JD signed with Capitol records and Management under then CEO Robert Metzger of Capitol Nashville. He toured the world over for the next four and half years as a front man and songwriter of the Full Circle Blues Band. Upon his return, he finished a Masters Degree in Guitar Performance and Music, obtained  from GPI (Guitar Players Institute) in Los Angeles,  California.  He returned to Nashville where he lived on Writer's Row as a songwriter for the Chuck Dixon/Chuck Morris agency for ten years. JD has recorded sixteen studio albums and two studio singles and composed and written  over 250 songs over the last forty years. JD currently is performing all over Colorado, venturing sometimes to Texas and Wyoming. JD was nominated in 1997 for Singer/Songwriter of the year, Song of the Year and New Male Vocalist of the year by the International Independent Recording Artists Academy of Music. JD has been blessed  to play everywhere from the Staples Center, The Bluebird Café, Tootsies, The Wild Horse Saloon and Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris France. He is now very honored to play Texas Toast Guitars primarily, and have an opportunity to promote such incredible instruments built by incredible  people!
