We've been building serious guitars for a long time. But the drama and expense of high end builds can make a custom guitar seem inaccessible. We wanted to change that...
So, we started applying that same build quality and style to guitars that are easy to sling around gigs, be at the ready for garage jams with friends and be your go-to guitar for any situation. This would take these guitars to the next level, and our approach meant building them a little differently.

The whole ethos behind Texas Toast Guitars is to deliver you a guitar that's easy to play and maintain and affordable to buy, while at the same time giving you the same feel and sound as a custom made, spec'd instrument. Each guitar gets the same attention to detail as the high-end customs we've made...and you still have possibilities for personalised details.
A DIFFERENT APPROACH
We've spent well over a decade building hundreds of custom guitars. Having built so many styles, sizes and weights of guitars allowed us to look at the creation of our Challenger Levels 1 & 2 through a new lens.
Working from the ground up, we knew we could be accessible and still deliver a classic style with strength and style, but on a leaner, no-nonsense guitar - one that would be easy to handle, quick to respond and adaptable to play in any scenario.
FROM THE GROUND UP
Our objective is to make the Level 1 & 2 Challenger as accessible as possible without ever compromising quality or style. By focusing our attention on the strength of the build, and stripping away unneccessary frills, we've created a solid, super cool guitar at a level you can play, proudly, right out of the box.
To do this, we've spent time sourcing our parts from the best, most reliable vendors we trust that also fit our vibe, specifications and design. We're more than proud to turn these guitars over to you.
